Transformation Tuesday 1-6-15

Today’s #TransformationTuesday is Crossfit East 10 member Brittany Williams! Here’s what she had to say:

“If you had told me a year ago that I would be 70 lbs lighter and 5 pant sizes smaller, I would have laughed at you. This was me (on the L) at 215 lbs and size 16-18. I was miserable and dying a slow death…and then when I realized that I was really literally killing myself, I decided I refused to let that happen. I called and scheduled my day 1 at the first local crossfit box I found and did my first workout on Sept 11, 2012. I had 15 minutes to do 40 air squats, 30 sit-ups, 20 push ups and 10 pull ups and I couldn’t finish it…it almost killed me. Now (on the R) I am a size 6-8, 140 lbs, and I feel ALIVE–which is the biggest and most valuable part of what I’ve gained. It sounds cliche, but its true–CrossFit saved my life. I am so grateful for all of you who have been there to support and encourage me through this journey. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Much thanks must also go to Him who has sustained me through it all and given me every breath to keep going–even though at times I wondered (mid burpee for example) if the next breath would actually come – Jesus. #crossfit #lifechanger #thiscouldbeyoutoo #doit
